In 2017, I moved into an apartment complex on the south side of Birmingham, Alabama. Shortly after we moved in I started noticing several stray cats roaming. I had been an animal lover but no necessarily cats, I was more of a dog person but like any other animal lover, I started offering a couple of them daily meals and it wasn't long before I realized that there were someone between 20-25 of these guys in my little part of the complex. So every night after dark, like clockwork, I would make my rounds and see to it that all 20-25 were fed. When I realized how big the problem was in my little corner of the world I started searching the rest of the complex and it didn't take long to find several more to add to my daily list. From that point on it just became an obsession that I find every stray or feral cat I could and provide them with daily food as well as trapping them to get them spayed/neuter so the problem didn't continue to snowball.
